To create the web page it is not very easy as it is cent. need to know what you want to put on your webpage and how you search the Internet and get where they offer some free webpage.You could get lost and never find the way home if you do not know how to use the internet.I’m going to try to explain how to make a homepage.

The modem is a small device either internal or external that transmits signals from digital to analog orvice-versa.The modem is the square mechanism that makes sounds when connected to the phone wire.The sound it makes is the transfer of the digital into analog, the high-pitched frequencies.

After being connected to "the net" via modem, a computer receives it’s own Transmission Control Protocol, which is the name given to the full set of protocol used on the internet.The Internet Protocol is the basic number code for your site that you are going too.Internet Service Provider is the service through which an Internet user is connected to the net.You must have a modem and an ISP in it’s own search engine.

The World Wide Web consists of a vast unregulated schemes of text, image, audio, and many more data that is scattered across networks and computers worldwide, hence the name, World Wide Web. A user could find the site he/she wanted to go to through a search engine.The search engine unless they have META tags included in the head of a HTML document.

Electronic mail or E-mail, is basically the same thing as writing a letter and sending it via the post office, with a couple of exceptions.

1) it’s faster, with bits and bytes being sent at rates faster then the eye can blink, E-mail can sent in one day and be responded to one minute later.

2) the information contained within an E-mail can be more efficiently explained with graphics and UR.’s, rather than with just words.

Before you start to work on your web page you must first apply for a membership to a web-company that provided free page space such as Tripod(http://www.tripod.com), Angelfire(http://www.anglfire.com), Xoom(http://xoom.com/xoom/homepage), Geocities(http://www.geocities.com).You can user your own E-mail address or you can get one with Hotmail(http://www.hotmail.com), or one from Conk(http://www.conk.com).When applying your membership to Tripod for example, Tripod will ask you for a valid E-mail address so they can send you a randomly generated password for your use, and a username, or the name you want to appear on your page URL and the name you will log in by.

After you finished applying you can get some other services such as guestbooks which you need also to feel the application form then you can get it.On my web page I include some pictures of me I took a while ago then when I went to develop it I ask to put my picture on the disk so I can be able tp put it on my web page then I can tell my parent back home to me and also to see the university so they can have an idea what the university looks like.Another I include on my web page is the Rwandanet(http://www.rwanda.net) so anyone who will visit my web page will learn something about my country which I find very interesting to me.

Tripod has HTML primers designed to teach you basic HTML, HyperText Markup Language, which is a character-based method for describing and displaying Webpage context.In an HTML you specify the text you want to display on your web page, and then you suround the text with keywords called tags to tell the browser how you want each section of text displayed: what size, font, color, position, and so on. Basically HTML is what enables people with different computers to browser the Onternet.

Tripod has files and files of free images to put on you page and even it’s own custom Web pages builder, which writes the HTML for you.Nice pages designed to teach you JavaScript can be found at Java Goodies(http://www.htmlgoodies.com/javagoodies).

For most I learnt when I was building my Web page I found it so excited and much fun to.It helped me also understand some materials we studied in class about the Internet and other subjects.Now I feel much stronger for that.
